(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구문화재단가 오는 5월 9일부터 6월 20일까지, 부평구청소년꿈나래터에서 ‘예술교육랩’ 정규 프로그램인 ‘부평툰즈’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
재단에 따르면, ‘예술교육랩’은 예술가 및 문화예술단체가 부평 지역 특성을 반영한 문화예술교육 프로그램을 연구·개발할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이다.
이번 ‘부평툰즈’는 2025년 ‘예술교육랩’에 선정돼 정규 과정으로 편성된 프로그램이다.
참여 어린이들은 총 6회차에 걸쳐 일제강점기 노동자들의 거처였던 부평의 역사적 공간 ‘영단주택’을 살펴보고, 그곳에 살았던 인물을 상상해 웹툰으로 제작하는 시간을 갖는다.
참여 대상은 초등학교 4~6학년이며, 교육 신청은 20일 오전 10시부터 부평구문화재단 누리집을 통해 가능하다.
재단 관계자는 “어린이들이 웹툰이라는 매체를 통해 부평의 역사에 관심을 갖는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “출범 이후 지역사회와 함께해 온 20년의 경험을 바탕으로 앞으로도 지역의 가치를 담은 다양한 문화예술교육 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 발굴하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Bupyeong-gu Cultural Foundation announced that it will operate 'Bupyeong Toons,' a regular program of the 'Arts Education Lab,' at the Bupyeong-gu Youth Dream Center from May 9 to June 20.
