<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 횡성군이 군민의 생명과 직결되는 응급의료서비스의 질 향상과 안전한 이송 환경 조성을 위해 팔을 걷어붙였다.
16일 횡성군에 따르면, 오는 24일까지 관내 구급차의 신속하고 안전한 이송 체계를 확립하기 위해 구급차 운용 상황 및 관리 실태 전반에 대한 철저한 현장점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 ‘응급의료에 관한 법률’에 근거해 매년 1회 이상 진행되는 법정 점검이다. 구급차의 불법 및 탈법 운행을 사전에 차단하고, 한층 더 안전한 이송 서비스를 제공하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
점검 대상은 횡성군보건소에 운용 신고된 구급차 총 17대 중 소방청 소속 구급차(9대)를 제외한 보건소, 의료기관, 일반 사업장 등에서 자체 운용 중인 구급차 8대다. 앞서 지난 3월 구급차 운용자가 시스템에 제출한 자가 실태 점검 결과를 바탕으로 현장 확인이 이루어진다.

주요 점검 항목으로는 ▲구급차 운용 신고 등 기본 준수 사항 ▲구급차 운용 기록 확인 ▲차량 형태·표시 및 내부 장치 기준 ▲의료장비, 구급의약품 및 통신장비 등 필수 장비 구비 여부 ▲인력 기준 준수 여부 등이다.
