16일 가평군에 따르면, 환경성질환예방관리센터 ‘숲의 약속’은 어린이들이 일상에서 환경유해인자를 이해하고 스스로 질환을 예방할 수 있도록 돕는 ‘2026년 비대면 환경성질환 예방관리교실’ 참여 기관을 선착순 모집 중이라고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 봄과 가을철마다 반복되어 아이들을 괴롭히는 비염 등 환경성 질환을 올바른 생활 습관을 통해 예방하기 위해 기획됐다. 특히 센터 방문이 어려운 기관과 학교를 위해 교육 교구를 무료로 제공하고, 각 기관에서 자율적으로 체험 교육을 진행하는 비대면 방식으로 운영된다.
전체 모집 인원은 5,000명 규모이며, 현재 약 4,000명 이상의 여유가 있어 경기 북부 지역 내 어린이집, 유치원 및 초등학교 1~3학년의 적극적인 참여가 가능하다. 대상 지역은 가평을 포함해 구리, 남양주, 동두천, 양주, 연천 등이다. 교구비와 택배비를 포함한 모든 교육 비용은 전액 무료로 지원된다.
