브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 현대백화점이 국내 최초의 로봇 만화영화 ‘로보트 태권브이’의 탄생 50주년을 기념해 가족 단위 고객을 위한 특별 전시를 선보인다.
현대백화점은 오는 17일부터 다음달 31일까지 미아점 10층에서 ‘우리들의 영웅 로보트 태권브이 50주년 특별전’을 개최한다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 전시에서는 2m 높이의 대형 피규어를 비롯해 로보트 태권브이 피규어 1000여 점과 김청기 로보트 태권브이 감독의 ‘엉뚱 산수화’ 5점을 선보인다.
엉뚱 산수화는 태권브이와 전통 산수화가 결합된 작품으로, 아름다운 자연 풍경과 일상을 담은 산수화 속에 태권브이가 등장하는 것이 특징이다.
전시와 연계된 체험 활동도 마련된다. 블록으로 나만의 태권브이를 만들어 볼 수 있는 ‘블록 존’, 다양한 태권브이 모양을 색칠해 볼 수 있는 ‘컬러링 존’, 태권브이 만화책과 영상을 관람할 수 있는 ‘아카이브 라운지’, 문방구 앞 추억의 게임을 즐길 수 있는 ‘레트로 존’, 볼풀 공으로 채워진 ‘볼풀 존’ 등 총 5가지 공간은 아이들의 상상력을 높이고, 어른들의 향수를 자극할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
로보트 태권브이 굿즈 상품도 선보인다. 이번 전시에서는 로보트 태권브이 피규어와 프라모델을 최초 판매가 대비 최대 10% 할인해 판매한다.
대표 상품으로는 이족 보행이 가능한 휴머노이드형 RC 로봇인 ‘태권브이 테크닉스 RC 휴머노이드’(129만원), ‘로보트 태권브이 피규어 메탈릭 버전’(11만9000원), ‘풀액션 태권브이 프라모델’(3만8000원) 등이다.
현대백화점 관계자는 “로보트 태권브이에 대한 향수를 지닌 부모 세대부터 로보트를 좋아하는 어린이까지, 가족 모두가 즐길 수 있는 전시를 기획하고자 노력했다”며 “앞으로도 온 가족이 함께 체험하고 즐길 수 있는 전시와 연계 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 선보일 계획이다”고 말했다.
