16일 평창군에 따르면, 강원특별자치도 공모사업인 ‘2026년 지역산업 맞춤형 일자리 창출 지원사업’의 일환으로 ‘청년 창업아카데미(MVP)-AI 과정’을 오는 5월부터 본격적으로 운영한다고 밝혔다.
올해로 3년 차를 맞이한 청년 창업 아카데미 MVP는 그동안 기초 교육을 넘어 실습, 컨설팅, 팝업스토어 운영까지 단계별 지원을 확대해 왔다. 특히 올해는 4차 산업 시대의 핵심인 ‘AI 기술’을 적극 접목한 고도화된 창업 지원 모델을 선보여 눈길을 끈다.
이번 AI 과정은 상·하반기로 나뉘어 총 40명 규모로 진행되며, 18세부터 49세 이하의 청년이라면 거주지에 상관없이 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
교육 프로그램은 철저한 실습 중심으로 짜였다. △인공지능의 이해 및 활용 △상품 디자인 및 굿즈 기획 △AI 기반 마케팅 전략 △생성형 AI 활용 콘텐츠 제작 △바이브 코딩 입문 등 창업 현장에서 즉시 써먹을 수 있는 알찬 내용으로 구성됐다.
강사진의 면면도 화려하다. KAIST 교수와 현직 스타트업 대표 등 현장 경험이 풍부한 전문가들이 전면에 나서 교육의 퀄리티를 한층 높인다. 또한, 과정을 수료한 청년들에게는 맞춤형 컨설팅과 함께 팝업스토어 입점 기회를 제공해 상품 개발부터 실제 판매까지 논스톱으로 연계 지원할 계획이다.
군은 이번 AI 창업 과정을 통해 초기 청년 창업가들의 마케팅 및 브랜딩 비용 부담을 대폭 줄여주는 것은 물론, 1인 창업자의 운영 효율성을 극대화하여 실제 고용 창출과 지역 경제 활성화로 이어지기를 기대하고 있다.
전해순 평창군 경제과장은 “청년 창업 아카데미는 단순한 이론 교육을 넘어, 톡톡 튀는 아이디어를 사업화하고 실제 매출로 연결하는 실행 중심의 프로그램”이라며, “이번 과정을 통해 우리 지역 청년 창업가들의 경쟁력을 높이고, 평창에 안정적으로 정착하는 청년들을 늘려 지역 경제에 새로운 활력을 불어넣겠다”고 강조했다.
