‘잎새달의 봄눈’ 공연은 제주에서의 삶을 바탕으로 한 루시드폴만의 서정성과 맑은 선율을 중심으로 꾸며진다. 계절의 결을 닮은 음악을 통해 관객들에게 잔잔한 위로와 여유를 전할 계획이다.
‘명작시리즈’는 장르를 넘나드는 기획 공연으로 지역 관객들의 사랑을 받아왔다. 올해 2월 보컬 그룹 노을의 무대에 이어 이번 공연에서는 봄 한가운데서 만날 수 있는 감성적 레퍼토리로 무대를 채운다.
루시드폴은 밴드 ‘미선이’로 데뷔한 뒤 싱어송라이터로서 자신만의 음악 세계를 구축해왔다. 그는 일상과 자연의 풍경을 세밀하게 담아낸 가사, 절제된 사운드로 꾸준히 사랑받고 있으며, 이번 공연에서는 ‘오, 사랑’, ‘봄눈’, ‘걸어가자’, ‘고등어’ 등 대표곡을 들려줄 예정이다.
공연 제목 ‘잎새달의 봄눈’은 4월을 뜻하는 순우리말 ‘잎새달’과 대표곡 ‘봄눈’을 결합해 만든 것으로, 화사한 계절 속 스며있는 서늘한 감정의 결을 담고 있다. 이는 따뜻함과 고요함이 어우러진 루시드폴 음악의 특징을 잘 보여주고 있다.
