【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=차수환 국민의힘 대구 동구청장 예비후보를 향한 지역 사회의 지지 선언이 이어지고 있다.
차 예비후보 선거사무소에는 16일 나눔플러스 봉사단과 더채움 봉사단 등 지역 단체 관계자들이 방문해 지지 의사를 밝혔다.
이들 단체는 청년·여성 중심의 봉사활동을 이어온 지역 조직이다.
앞서 15일에는 동구 안심상가번영회 일부 회원들이 지지를 선언했으며, 지난달 26일에는 동구청 퇴직공무원 25명이 차 예비후보를 공개 지지했다.
퇴직공무원들은 “행정 연속성과 경험을 바탕으로 지역 현안을 해결할 적임자”라고 평가했다.
봉사단 관계자는 “차 예비후보는 동구 현안과 주민 요구를 잘 알고 있는 인물”이라고 말했다.
차 예비후보는 “주민과 지역 단체의 지지에 책임감을 느낀다”며 “인구 감소와 생활권 공동화 문제 해결, K-2 군공항 이전과 미래 성장 기반 마련 등 체감 가능한 정책을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “행정은 결과로 평가받아야 한다”며 “현장 중심 행정과 실효성 있는 정책으로 변화를 만들겠다”고 강조했다.
