<브레이크뉴스 평창 = 김일웅 기자> 평창군이 최근 급변하는 중동 정세에 따른 글로벌 경제 불확실성에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 비상 경제 체제를 본격 가동했다.
16일 평창군에 따르면, 군은 이날 오후 2시 비상경제대응 TF 단장인 임성원 부군수 주재로 관계 기관, 경제단체, 수출입 기업 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 ‘중동 상황 관련 비상 경제 대응 합동 대책 회의’를 긴급 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 중동발 위기가 지역 경제에 미칠 영향을 면밀히 분석하고, 민생 물가와 석유 가격 안정화 등 시민 생활과 직결된 분야별 대응 방안을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.

이날 회의에서는 △에너지 취약계층 및 소상공인을 위한 세정 지원 △임업인 경영 안정 대책 △수출입 기업 지원 방안 등이 폭넓게 논의됐다. 특히 본격적인 농번기를 맞아 비료 등 농자재와 축산 사료 가격 상승을 우려하는 관내 농협, 원예농협, 축협 등 관계 기관의 건의 사항을 적극 청취하며 농축산 농가의 피해를 최소화하는 데 행정력을 집중하기로 의견을 모았다.
군은 현재 추진 중인 반값 농자재 지원사업과 유기질 비료 지원, 소상공인 카드 수수료 지원 및 지역사랑상품권 발행 등의 정책이 농가와 소상공인의 경영 부담을 완화하는 데 실질적인 버팀목이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
임성원 평창 부군수는 회의에서 “대외 경제 여건의 불확실성이 그 어느 때보다 높은 만큼, 오늘 논의된 현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 실효성 있는 해결 방안을 즉각 마련할 것”이라며, “물가 상승 등 경제적 위기 요인에 선제적으로 대응해 지역 경제가 흔들림 없이 유지되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
