(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 F1 그랑프리 인천 유치를 위해 추진해온 ‘F1 인천 그랑프리 기본구상 및 사전타당성 조사 용역’ 결과 타당성을 확인하며 첫 단추를 맞췄다.
인천시에 따르면, 시가 작년 6월부터 추진해 온 ‘F1 인천 그랑프리 기본구상 및 사전타당성 조사 용역’을 마무리하고 그 결과를 16일 공식 발표했다.
이번 용역은 세계적 서킷 디자인 전문업체인 독일의 틸케(Tilke)社와 한국산업개발연구원이 공동 수행하여 신뢰도를 높였다.
○ ‘세계 3대 메가 스포츠’ F1, 인천의 글로벌 브랜드 가치 상승
F1 그랑프리는 국제자동차연맹(FIA)에서 주관하고 F1 그룹(Formula One Group, 이하 F1측)이 상업적 권리를 소유한 국제자동차경주대회로, 연간 24개 도시에서만 개최되는 ‘종합 엔터테인먼트 산업’의 결정체다.
