(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 정부의 공공기관 이전 및 통합 움직임에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 ‘공공기관 이전·통합 대응 전담조직(TF)’을 본격 가동하고, 지역 공공기관의 사수를 위한 전략 마련에 나섰다.
인천시가 지난 15일, 신재경 정무부시장 주재로 ‘공공기관 이전·통합 대응 전담조직’ 제1차 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 전담조직은 정무부시장을 단장, 기획조정실장을 부단장으로 하며 대변인, 환경국장, 국제협력국장, 해양항공국장 등 관련 실·국장과 인천연구원이 참여하는 인천시 대응 조직이다.
1차 회의에서는 전담조직의 구성 취지와 활동계획을 공유하고, 정부 및 관련 기관의 동향을 공유했다.
특히, 인천연구원은 향후 현안 연구를 통해 공항공사 통합과 인천 지역 공공기관 이전이 지역 및 국가에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 존치 논리를 강화해 나가기로 했다.
인천시는 회의 결과에 따라 현장의 목소리를 직접 청취하기 위해 다음주 중 정무부시장 주관으로 이전·통합이 거론되는 각 공공기관 관계자들과의 소통을 실시할 예정이다.
