동국대 WISE캠퍼스, 베트남 고교와 글로벌 인재 육성 협력…AI 혁신 교육모델 추진

동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 국제교류처는 지난 15일 베트남 꽝쭝고등학교와 키엔투이고등학교를 방문해 해외 고교·국내 대학 연계형 AI 혁신 교육모델 구축을 위한 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협력은 동국대 WISE캠퍼스가 교육부 교육국제화역량 인증대학으로서 우수 외국인 유학생 유치를 확대하고, 글로벌 고등교육의 해외 확산을 주도하기 위해 추진됐다.

양 기관은 창의적 글로벌 고등교육 설계와 혁신 콘텐츠 교류를 주요 내용으로 하는 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했으며, 한국 유학을 준비하는 현지 학생들을 대상으로 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 유학 설명회도 함께 진행했다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 이번 협약을 계기로 베트남 학생들에게 한국 유학 기회를 넓히고, 지역 산업 수요에 부합하는 글로벌 인재 양성 체계를 강화해 나간다는 방침이다.

이유경 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 국제교류처장은 “미래 비전을 선도하는 글로컬 인재 양성 대학을 목표로 지역 산업 수요에 맞는 정주형 우수 베트남 인재를 육성해 지역 상생과 지속가능성을 확보해 나갈 계획”이라며 “특히 2025 APEC 성과 확산과 연계한 우리 대학만의 혁신적인 글로컬 교육 프로그램으로 지역과 대학의 동반 성장을 이끌겠다”고 말했다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Collaborates with Vietnamese High Schools to Foster Global Talent… Promoting an AI Innovation Education Model

Dongguk University WISE Campus (President Ryu Wan-ha) has partnered with high schools in Vietnam to expand international cooperation aimed at fostering global talent.

The Office of International Exchange at Dongguk University WISE Campus announced that it visited Quang Trung High School and Kien Thuy High School in Vietnam on the 15th and signed an agreement to establish an AI innovation education model linking overseas high schools with domestic universities.

This collaboration was pursued by Dongguk University WISE Campus to expand the recruitment of outstanding international students and lead the global expansion of higher education, as a university certified by the Ministry of Education for its capacity in educational internationalization.

The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focusing on the design of creative global higher education and the exchange of innovative content. They also held a study abroad information session for local students preparing to study in Korea.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Dongguk University's WISE Campus plans to use this agreement as an opportunity to expand study abroad opportunities for Vietnamese students and strengthen its system for cultivating global talent that meets the demands of local industries.

Lee Yu-kyung, Director of the Office of International Exchange at Dongguk University's WISE Campus, stated, "With the goal of becoming a university that fosters glocal talent leading the future vision, we plan to secure regional co-prosperity and sustainability by cultivating outstanding Vietnamese talents who are willing to settle in the region to meet the demands of local industries." She added, "In particular, we will lead the co-growth of the region and the university through our university's unique and innovative glocal education programs linked to the dissemination of achievements from the 2025 APEC."
