(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 오는 20일부터 6월 19일까지, 인천 관내 해수면 유·도선 및 선착장을 대상으로 ‘2026년 해수면 유·도선 집중안전점검’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
인천해경에 따르면, 집중안전점검은 행정안전부 주관으로 ‘재난 및 안전관리기본법’에 따라매년 시행되는 제도로 각 부처별 위험시설 점검과 사전조치, 대국민 안전 홍보를 통해 안전사고 예방을 도모하기 위한 점검이다.
점검 대상은 인천 관내 노후 유·도선, 차량적재 도선 등 안전취약 유·도선 30척과 선착장 13개소이며, 소방·구명장비 관리 실태와 승하선시설 안전여부 등 안전 위해요소를 중점 점검할 예정이다.
특히, 올해 점검은 국민이 적극 참여하는 민·관 합동 방식으로 추진하여 국민의 눈높이에서 개선이 필요한 사항을 적극 발굴할 예정이다.
서명석 해양안전과장은 “국민들이 안전하게 유·도선을 이용할 수 있도록 사고 발생 개연성이 높은 곳을 위주로 선제적으로 집중 점검을 실시할 예정”이라며, “유·도선을 이용하는 국민들께서도 구명조끼 착용 등 기본적인 해양안전 수칙을 꼭 지켜주기 바란다”고 당부했다.
또한, 인천해양경찰서가 16일, 연안사고 예방과 국민의 생명 보호를 위해 영흥도 내리 갯벌을 출입통제구역으로 지정한 이후 무단침입 행위에 대한 집중 단속을 벌여 총 3건을 적발했다고 밝혔다.
