<브레이크뉴스 홍천 = 김일웅 기자> 강원 홍천군농업기술센터가 지역 특화 치유농업의 조기 정착과 농가 소득 향상을 목표로 이달부터 치유농업 육성 기술지원 사업을 본격 가동한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 관내 치유 농장과 유관 기관을 유기적으로 연계해 맞춤형 프로그램을 운영하는 것이 핵심이다. 이를 통해 치유농업의 대국민 인지도를 높이고 참여 저변을 확대한다는 구상이다. 특히 치매안심센터, 지역아동센터, 자활센터 등과 협력해 각 대상자의 특성에 맞춘 다채로운 힐링 콘텐츠를 제공한다.
세부적으로 살펴보면, 치유 농장 ‘빛돌 바람’에서는 경증 치매 어르신들을 초청해 지역 대표 자원인 블루베리 체험과 둘레길 걷기 등 자연 친화적인 단회기 프로그램을 운영, 정서 안정과 인지 기능 향상을 돕는다.

미래 세대와 취약계층을 위한 다회기 프로그램도 풍성하다. ‘메아리 자연농장’은 지역아동센터 청소년을 대상으로 쌀과 콩을 활용한 요리·농업 융합 체험인 ‘쌀콩달콩’을 총 8회에 걸쳐 진행하며, 건강한 식습관 형성을 지원한다. 또한 ‘흙집 치유 동산’은 청소년 대상 반려 식물 돌봄 프로그램을, ‘지운 마루’는 취약계층을 위한 치유 텃밭 가꾸기와 명상 및 약용식물 체험을 통해 자립 의지와 심리적 안정을 도모한다.
군은 이번 프로그램이 단순한 체험에 그치지 않도록 사전·사후 만족도 조사와 심리·정서 척도 검사, 맥파계 측정 등을 병행해 참가자들의 스트레스 완화 효과를 객관적으로 분석하고 향후 프로그램 고도화에 적극 반영할 예정이다.
윤선화 홍천군농업기술센터 소장은 “치유농업은 단순한 농촌 체험을 넘어 현대인의 정서 회복과 사회적 관계망 형성에 기여하는 새로운 미래 가치”라며, “앞으로도 홍천만의 청정 자원을 활용한 특색 있는 치유 프로그램을 발굴해 군민의 삶의 질을 높이고 농가 소득 증대에도 기여하겠다”고 전했다.
한편, 홍천군은 관내 다양한 치유 농장을 기반으로 에코 프린팅, 동물 교감 등 차별화된 힐링 프로그램을 꾸준히 개발하며 치유농업 1번지로 도약하기 위한 활발한 행보를 이어가고 있다.
