공사는 지난 10일과 16일 두 차례에 걸쳐 안동지역 복지시설을 방문해 장애인 가족과 아동을 대상으로 후원 및 봉사활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
먼저 지난 10일에는 안동시장애인종합복지관이 주관한 ‘우리가족 행복한 day’ 프로그램에 참여했다. 이번 행사는 평소 여행이 쉽지 않은 휠체어 이용 중증장애인 가족들에게 여가·문화 체험 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
공사는 행사 운영 지원을 위해 290만 원의 기부금을 전달했으며, 임직원들이 직접 충주 일대에서 휠체어 이동 보조와 체험활동 지원에 나서며 봉사활동에도 힘을 보탰다.
이어 지난 16일에는 안동 경안신육원을 찾아 아동들의 생활환경 개선과 정서 지원을 위한 봉사활동을 실시했다.
공사는 2024년부터 3년째 해당 시설과 인연을 이어오며 쌀 기부와 아동희망나눔키트 전달 등 지속적인 후원 활동을 이어가고 있다.
이재혁 경상북도개발공사 사장은 “이번 봉사활동이 장애인 가족과 아동들에게 작은 위로와 행복한 시간이 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 다양한 사회공헌활동을 통해 공공기관의 사회적 책임을 다하고 나눔과 상생의 가치를 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

First, on the 10th, the Corporation participated in the "Our Family Happy Day" program organized by the Andong Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled. This event was organized to provide leisure and cultural experiences to families of severely disabled wheelchair users, for whom traveling is usually difficult.
The Corporation donated 2.9 million won to support the operation of the event, and employees also contributed to the volunteer work by personally assisting with wheelchair mobility and supporting experiential activities in the Chungju area.
