구미시(을) 당협은 지난 19일 강명구 국회의원 사무실에서 공천을 신청한 17명을 대상으로 면접을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 심사에는 정치, 행정, 청년, 지역사회 분야의 전문가 8명이 참여해 면접의 전문성을 더했다.
면접은 단순 경력 심사를 넘어, 실제 의정활동을 가정한 상황별 문제 해결 능력과 현장 대응 역량, 도덕성, 지역 현안에 대한 이해도와 정책 비전 등 다양한 방면을 종합적으로 평가하는 방식으로 이뤄졌다.
심사 과정에서는 한쪽 요소에 치우치지 않도록 다양한 평가 지표를 적용해, 후보자들의 강점과 한계를 입체적으로 분석했다. 이를 통해 실무형 의정 역량을 갖춘 적임자를 발굴한다는 방침이다.
강명구 구미을 당협위원장은 “구미의 미래를 책임질 인재를 선발하는 만큼, 원칙과 기준에 따라 공정하고 투명하게 심사를 진행하겠다”며 “시민들의 눈높이에 부합하는 경쟁력 있는 후보를 엄정하게 선정할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

The Gumi (Eul) District Party Council announced that it conducted interviews with 17 applicants for nomination at the office of National Assembly member Kang Myung-gu on the 19th.
Eight experts in the fields of politics, administration, youth, and local community participated in the screening process to enhance its professionalism.

Kang Myeong-gu, Chairman of the Gumi-eul Party Committee, stated, “As we are selecting talent who will be responsible for Gumi’s future, we will conduct the screening fairly and transparently in accordance with principles and standards,” adding, “We will rigorously select a competitive candidate who meets the expectations of the citizens.”
