[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시는 지난 3월 20일 아동수당법 개정안 공포에 따라 아동수당 지급 대상을 기존 만 8세 미만에서 만 9세 미만까지 확대 시행한다.
이번 개정은 양육의 경제적 부담을 완화하기 위해 추진됐으며 지급 연령을 2030년까지 만 13세 미만으로 매년 1세씩 단계적으로 상향하는 내용을 담고 있다. 올해는 그 첫 단계로 만 9세 미만 아동에게 혜택이 돌아가며 대상 아동 1명당 월 10만원이 매월 25일 지급된다.
확대 대상인 2017년 1월생부터 2018년 3월생 아동 중 기존 수급 이력이 있는 경우 별도의 절차 없이 행정기관이 직권으로 신청을 진행한다.
