김정섭 더불어민주당 공주시장 예비후보(이하 후보)가 21일 오전, ‘여성이 행복하고 평등한 공주’를 만들기 위한 9번째 정책 공약으로 ‘여성 정책’ 분야를 발표했다.
이번 발표는 성평등 실현과 여성의 경제활동 촉진, 복지 사각지대 해소 등 실질적인 삶의 질 향상에 초점을 맞춘 6가지 핵심 과제로 구성됐다.
먼저 김 후보는 시책 사업 및 재정 배분 과정에서 여성이 소외되지 않도록 ‘여성정책 시민참여단’을 운영하겠다고 밝혔다.
주민참여예산위원회 내에 ‘성평등특별분과’를 설치하고, 예산학교에 성평등 과정을 추가해 예산의 편성부터 집행, 사후 모니터링까지 여성의 목소리를 직접 반영하겠다는 구상이다.
