임기 만료 되는 자민당 총재 선거는 20일 소속 국회 의원 선거와 당원 당우에 의한 지방 표의 개표가 진행되고 새 총재가 선출된다.

아베 신조 총리(총재, 63)이 이시바 시게루 전 간사장(61)에 대한 국회 의원 표를 중심으로 우세를 유지하면서 연속 3선거가 확실한 정세다. 결과는 오후 2시 넘어 드러난다.  총리는 출신 파벌에서 최대의 호소다파 등 5파를 축으로 국회 의원 표의 85%정도에 지지를 획득, 지방 표를 리드하고 있다. 이시바 씨는 지방 표에서 반격을 도모했다.수상의 정권 운영을 비판하는 이시바 씨의 주장이 어느 정도 침투하고 표의 쌓기에 이어질지가 초점이다.
