경북교육청, 미래학교 임대형 민자사업(BTL) 대상학교 선정

경북교육청(교육감 임종식)이 2022년도 그린스마트 미래학교 임대형 민자사업(BTL) 대상학교를 선정했다.

한국판 뉴딜 10대 대표사업인 그린스마트 미래학교 사업은 40년 이상 경과한 학교 건물을 개축 또는 리모델링을 통해 미래학교로 전환하는 사업이다.

경북교육청은 13일, "이 사업의 25%의 물량을 민간투자사업인 임대형 민자사업(BTL)으로 추진한다"며 "코로나19 등으로 인한 유동 자금의 선순환 투자 유도와 지역경제 활성화 효과로 미래학교로의 대전환 조기 달성을 기대한다"고 말했다.

이어 "그린스마트 미래학교 조성사업으로 2021년 58개교 90동(BTL 8교 12동), 2022년 45개교 64동을 선정하고, 지난 10일 심의를 통해 2022년도 BTL 대상학교 5개교 9동을 선정해 미래학교 조성에 한 걸음 더 다가가고 있다."고 덧붙였다.

최종 선정된 학교는 사전기획용역을 통해 사업규모와 사업비를 확정하고 임대형 민자사업(BTL)으로 추진해 오는 2025년에는 미래학교로 탈바꿈할 예정이다.
