경북도의회 환동해발전연구회, 제1차 환동해권 상생발전 온라인 포럼 개최

환동해발전연구회(이칠구 대표)가 환동해권의 의의와 관광분야의 광역협력을 통한 지역발전 방안을 논의하는 제1차 환동해권 상생발전 온라인 포럼을 개최했다.

지난 11일 오후 2시 경상북도 동부청사 대회의실에서 개최된 제1차 환동해권 상생발전 온라인 포럼은 코로나19로 인해 최소한의 토론자만 현장 참석하여 거리두기 수칙을 준수하며 온라인 포럼으로 진행하였으며 녹화한 촬영분은 유튜브에 업로드 된다.

이날 포럼에는 이칠구 대표를 비롯하여 남진복 농수산위원장, 신효광 농수산위원회 부위원장, 이동업 문화환경위원회 부위원장, 박현국(농수산위원회), 이춘우 의회운영위원회 부위원장, 박용선(교육위원회), 송경창 경상북도 환동해지역본부장, 오창균 대구경북연구원장, 이동욱 경북일보 논설주간, 구자문 한동대 교수, 이동형 대구경북연구원 미래전략연구실장이 토론자로 참석했다.

포럼에서는 이상준 국토연구원 선임연구위원이 ‘뉴 노멀시대 환동해권의 의의’에 대한 발표를 통해 환동해권의 개념 및 잠재력과 지속가능한 환동해권을 위한 협력의 지향점을 시사했다.

이어 오익근 계명대학교 관광경영학 명예교수가 ‘동해안 및 인근 내륙권 관광협력 방안’에 대해 발표하면서 지자체간의 지역 공동상품개발 및 홍보로 권역관광협력 방안을 제시했다.

환동해권발전연구회 대표 이칠구 의원(포항)은 “경북도의회는 다양한 해양 및 관광자원을 지니고 있어 성장 잠재력이 풍부한 환동해지역을 북극항로 개척의 전초 기지로서의 역할과 더불어 동해안권역과 인접시군이 관광분야 협력을 통해 낙후된 지역산업을 육성할 수 있도록 실효성 있는 정책을 제안할 계획이다.”라고 했다.
