계명대 산학인재원과 미술대학이 호텔인터불고엑스코와 손을 잡고 지역의 관광산업 및 문화예술 산업 발전과 지역인재 양성을 위해 나선다.
지난 19일 오전 10시, 호텔인터불고엑스코 2층 예그리나 봉래룸에서 열린 업무협약식에는 김범준 계명대 산학인재원장과 김윤희 계명대 미술대학장, 이봉상 호텔인터불고엑스코 회장을 비롯한 관계자들이 참석했다.

이번 협약은 ▲지역의 관광 및 문화예술 산업 발전을 위한 기관별 보유 자원의 공유, 상호 보완 등 상호협력 ▲지역의 관광 및 문화예술 산업 인재 양성을 위한 교육 운영, 현장 실습 협력체계 구축 등 지역 인재 양성을 위한 상호협력 ▲협약 기관의 발전을 위한 공동 노력 및 상호 지원 ▲상호 협의한 사항에 대한 과제 발굴과 수행 등을 골자로 한다.
지난 6월부터 계명대 산학인재원은 LINC+ 사업의 일환으로 정부의‘지역관광 활성화 정책’에 발 맞춰「실무 중심형 지역 관광 인재양성 프로그램」을 계명대 관광경영학전공과 공동 기획하여 운영해 왔다.
계명대 관광경영학전공 중심의 80여 명의 학생들은 여름방학 동안 바리스타 전문가 과정, 국제 여행 항공 전문가 과정, 주조기능사&소믈리에 전문가 과정 등 특별히 기획된 실무 교육을 이수했다. 이번 협약으로 교육을 이수한 4학년 학생 4명을 선발하여 현장실습을 파견함으로써, 취업으로까지 연계할 수 있도록 추진할 계획이다.
김범준 계명대 산학인재원장은 “학교의 관련 인적·지적 자원들을 충분히 제공하여 지역의 관광 산업과 문화예술 산업 발전에 지속적으로 이바지하고자 한다.”며, “학생들을 산업 현장에서 필요로 하는 인재 양성하기 위해 호텔인터불고엑스코와 함께 실질적인 협력을 강화할 계획이다.”고 이번 산학협력체결의 취지를 말했다.
계명대 미술대학은 ▲대구·경북의 문화예술 콘텐츠 확산을 위한 노력 ▲산학협력을 통한 대구·경북의 문화예술 활성화 등을 협력하기로 했다. 이를 통해 제1회 계명대학교 미술대학과 호텔인터불고엑스코의 희망 나눔 특별 전시회인 ‘컬러플 크리에이션(Colorful Creation) : 코로나 블루, 미술로 치유하다’가 개최될 예정이다.
김윤희 계명대 미술대학장은 “이번 전시회로 코로나로 힘들어 하고 있는 지역민들에게 희망의 메시지를 전함과 동시에 학생들의 창작활동 고취시키고자 한다.”며, “앞으로 지역사회와 더 많은 소통을 하며 문화예술 발전에 기여하고자 한다.”고 계획을 밝혔다.
