2021 청년여성 멘토링 프로젝트 결과공유회 개최

‘2021 청년여성 멘토링 프로젝트’ 사업의 결과공유회가 개최된다.

오는 9월 3일 오후 2시 대구엑스코 동관 여성업(UP)엑스포 행복관에서 개최되는 청년여성 멘토링 프로젝트 결과공유회는 대구시가 주최하고 대구여성가족재단이 주관하는 사업이다.

해당 사업은 지역에서 활발하게 활동하고 있는 여성 멘토와 청년여성을 연결하고 청년여성에게 진로 탐색 및 사회 진출의 기회를 제공하기 위해 지난해에 이어 올해 두 번째로 진행된다.

멘토링 프로젝트에서는 연극(백운선, 창작집단옆집사는연극쟁이), 디자인(한혜림.이원오, 티사웍스 대표), 출판(김정애.방지민, 독립출판물 제작), 경제(정소현, 글로벌셀러진흥원 대표), 창업(조현미, 끌과망치이야기 대표) 등 5개 분야 7명의 멘토가 총 35명의 멘티에게 각 분야에서 축적된 경험과 전문적인 노하우를 전수해주었다.

대구여성가족재단 정일선 대표는 “코로나19로 지난해에 이어 올해도 사회적 활동이 위축된 가운데에서도 멘토와 멘티들이 서로 신뢰를 가지고 재능을 나누었다는 점이 놀랍다.”며 “지역, 여성, 청년이라는 삼중고 속에서 멘티들의 잠재된 멘토링 수요가 많다는 것을 느꼈으며 멘토링 사업이 희망의 연대가 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.

The Youth Women Mentoring Project Result Sharing Meeting to be held at the Happy Hall of the Women's Industry (UP) Expo in Dongguan, Daegu Exco on September 3 at 2 pm is a project hosted by Daegu City and organized by the Daegu Gender Equality and Family Foundation.

The project will be held for the second time this year following last year in order to connect young women with female mentors who are active in the region and provide opportunities for young women to explore their career paths and advance into society.

In the mentoring project, theatrical (Baek Woon-sun, the butler next door to the creative group), design (Han Hye-rim, Lee Won-oh, CEO of Tisa Works), publishing (Kim Jeong-ae and Bang Min, independent publication production), economics (Jeong So-hyun, CEO of Global Seller Promotion Agency), and start-up Seven mentors in 5 fields including (Hyeonmi Cho, CEO of Chisel and Hammer Story) passed on their accumulated experiences and professional know-how in each field to a total of 35 mentees.

Jung Il-sun, CEO of Daegu Gender Equality and Family Foundation, said, “It is surprising that mentors and mentees shared their talents with each other even though social activities were reduced this year as well as last year due to COVID-19. I felt that there is a lot of potential mentoring demand from mentees, and I hope that the mentoring project will become a solidarity of hope.”
