6일 오후 3시 30분 대구 동구 소재 ‘더불어숲’ 회의실에서 대구·경북 대학교수, 연구원, 기업인 100인이 제20대 대통령선거 더불어민주당 대선 경선후보인 이낙연 후보 지지 입장을 발표했다.
이들은 지지선언문을 통해 이낙연 후보에 대해 “역대 최장수 총리로 대한민국의 미래와 국민의 안전을 위해 헌신했고, 원칙에 충실하고 약자에게 따뜻한 지도자”라고 설명하며 “나라를 이끌 역량과 전망을 가진 이낙연 후보를 지지하며, 당당한 승리와 위대한 정권 재창출을 간절히 기원한다”고 전했다.
앞서 3일에는 경북의 문화예술인, 사회복지인, 장애인단체회원 등 1000여명이 ’신복지와 문화강국‘ 의 이낙연후보를 민주당 대통령 후보로 지지선언 한 바 있다.
