임이자 의원, 고용유지지원금 부정수급 지적에 나서

환경노동위원회 소속 국민의힘 임이자 의원(상주·문경)이 고용유지지원금 부정수급에 대해 지적에 나섰다.

지난 6일 임이자 의원은 고용노동부로부터 제출받은 자료를 확인 한 결과 고용유지지원금의 부정수급액이 올해 7월까지 126억원으로 이르는 것으로 나타났다고 밝혔다.

세부적으로는 올해 1~7월간 적발된 고용유지지원금 부정수급 사업장은 576개, 부정수급액은 126억 3700만원에 달하는 것으로 확인되는데 이는 지난해 전체 부정수급액(93억700만원)을 넘어서는 수치이다.

고용유지지원금 부정수급은 다양한 형태로 이루어졌다. A사는 정부 지원금을 받아 근로자에 휴업수당을 준 뒤 일부를 다시 현금으로 돌려받는 경우(페이백)가 적발되었고, B사는 휴업수당을 받은 근로자를 사무실로 출근시켜 적발, C사는 근무한 사실조차 없는 사람을 수당 지급 대상으로 등록해 지원금을 받아 지원금 갈취뿐만 아니라 노동 갈취도 행해지고 있는 실정이다.

임 의원은“현재 적발된 부정수급 사례는 극히 소수에 불과하며 아직 표면 위로 드러나지 않은 부정수급 사례는 훨씬 많을 것”이라며 “일부 사업장들의 도덕적 해이가 확인된 만큼 고용노동부는 대책 마련과 함께 지원금을 받는 사업장들에 대한 관리·감독을 강화하고 부정수급으로 적발된 사업장들은 엄중한 책임을 물어야 한다”라고 강조했다.
