경일대학교(총장 정현태)가 수업방식을 학생들이 선택할 수 있도록 운영한다.
경일대학교는 27일부터 학생의 희망에 따라 수업방식을 대면 또는 비대면으로 선택할 수 있도록 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이에 따라 이론 수업의 경우 거리두기 단계가 1~2단계면서 수강인원이 30명 이하일 때는 대면 수업으로 진행하고 30명 초과일 경우 학생의 선택에 따라 대면 또는 비대면으로 수업에 참석할 수 있으며 3~4단계는 수강인원에 상관없이 학생의 희망에 따라 수업방식을 선택할 수 있다.
실험·실습·실기 수업의 경우 거리두기 단계와는 상관없이 모두 대면 수업으로 진행되며 평가(중간/기말)는 대면을 원칙으로 하되 거리두기가 4단계일 경우 비대면으로 진행된다.
이번 대면·비대면 수업 병행이 가능해진 이유는 대면 수업이 진행되는 현장을 실시간으로 중계하여 학생들이 비대면 방식으로도 수업에 참여를 할 수 있게 했기 때문이다.
이를 통해 병행 수업방식을 통해 의견이 갈리던 학생들 간의 갈등이 줄어들 것으로 보인다.
정현태 총장은 “수업방식에 대해 의견이 갈리던 학생들의 요구 사항을 반영하여 대면 수업을 실시간 중계하기로 결정했다.”며 “학생들의 안전을 최우선으로 하여 대면 수업을 진행하고 안정된 중계 시스템을 갖추어 원활하게 비대면 수업을 진행시키겠다.”고 밝혔다.
