경북과학대학교(총장 김현정) 간호학과 배수진 교수가 ‘제14회 치매극복의 날’을 맞아 경북도지사 표창을 받았다.
배수진 교수는 치매 극복 관리사업에 헌신한 공로로 지난달 30일 경북 칠곡군보건소에서 열린 표창 전달식에 참석해 경북도지사 표창을 수여받았다.

배수진 교수는 경북과학대 치매예방활동 동아리인 브레인 지도교수로 경북광역치매센터와 함께 다양한 치매 극복 선도 및 인식 개선 활동을 펼치고 있다.
배수진 교수는 “주어진 미션을 적극적으로 수행하며 치매 극복을 위해 노력한 동아리 학생들이 받은 표창으로 생각한다”며 “치매가 있어도 살기 불편하지 않은 사회를 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
