경일대, 꿈지락(樂) 진로캠프 개최

경일대학교(총장 정현태) 대학일자리센터에서 ‘꿈지락(樂) 진로캠프’를 개최했다.

지난 6일 열린 ‘꿈지락(樂) 진로캠프’는 지난해 진로 프로그램 만족도 및 수요 조사 결과를 참고하여 기획한 프로그램으로 학생들의 자기이해와 진로 결정에 도움을 주기위해 마련되었다.

경일대학교 일자리 센터는 다양한 강의를 통해 참여 학생들이 자신의 장점을 파악해 강점으로 키워나가는 방법을 알려주었다.

특히 ‘행동유형 검사(DISC)’를 실시하여 참여 학생들의 성향을 알아보고 어떤 진로에 적합한지 그리고 관심 가지던 진로와 연결성이 있는지 등을 파악하는 시간을 가져 학생들의 만족도가 높았다.

캠프에 참여한 팽준재(경일대 소방방재학과 2학년) 학생은 “친구의 추천으로 참여하게 되었는데 생각지도 못하게 좋은 프로그램을 알게 되었다”며 “이번 캠프를 통해 내가 가지고 있는 강점이 무엇인지, 그리고 어떤 진로를 선택하는 것이 좋을지 파악할 수 있었다. 앞으로도 학교에서 진행되는 다양한 비교과 프로그램을 알아보고 적극 참여할 생각이다”고 말했다.

경일대 대학일자리센터 원철호 센터장은 “많은 학생들은 자신이 어떤 진로 및 직무에 강점을 가지고있는지 모르고 취업을 준비하고 있다”며 “앞으로 진로 및 직무 관련 프로그램을 더욱 활성화해 학생들이 자신의 강점을 파악해 진로를 결정하고 취업 준비를 할 수 있게 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
