대구대 진로취업처와 대학일자리센터는 중간고사가 진행되었던 지난 20일부터 26일까지 10개 단과대학을 방문해 ‘찾아가는 청년고용정책 A to Z’ 행사를 진행하였으며 약 2,000명의 각 단과대학 재학생들이 적극적으로 참여해 다양한 취업 정보를 제공받았다.
행사는 퀴즈참여를 통해 정부의 청년고용정책을 알아보는 ‘청년고용정책 장학퀴즈’, 시험 기간 학생들을 격려하기 위한 ‘비타민 충전하고 A+받자’ 등 다양한 프로그램이 실시되었으며 학생들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.
또한, 대학일자리센터의 SNS팔로우 이벤트 등 학생들과의 진로 및 취업 접근성을 높이기 위한 프로그램도 함께 진행되었다.
조미정 학생(행정학과 2학년)은 “비대면으로 진행되는 수업이 많은 요즘, 시험공부로 스트레스를 받는 학생들을 응원하면서 청년고용정책에 대한 알찬 정보를 접할 수 있는 대면 행사에 참여해 많은 도움이 됐다”고 말했다.
한편, 대구대 진로취업처는 학생들의 진로·취업 지원을 위해 오는 11월 단과대학 취업박람회를 개최하는 등 위드코로나 시대에 맞는 대면 지원서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
