경북도의회 농수산위원회, 의정사상 최초 울릉군 방문

경상북도의회 농수산위원회(위원장 남진복)가 지난 26일과 27일에 걸쳐 울릉군을 직접 찾아 현장확인에 나섰다.

이들은 경북도의회 의정사상 처음으로 울릉군을 직접 찾아가 농어민들과 소통하며 민심을 파악했고 이와 함께 어업기술센터 등 농어업 관련 현장도 방문했다.

특히 이번 방문에서 농수산위원회는 울릉 주민들의 오랜 숙원이었던 전천후 여객선 취항으로 울릉주민들의 보다 나은 삶과 관광객 증가에 대한 기대를 밝히며 승선 체험을 했다.

또한 농어업 대표간담회, 독도의용수비대 기념관 방문, 울릉도.독도 해양연구기지 방문, 어업기술센터 울릉지소 현장확인 등 울릉도 곳곳을 돌며 농어민의 현안사항을 챙기고자 노력했다.

남진복(울릉군) 농수산위원장은 “행정사무감사와 2022년도 본예산 심사 준비 등으로 여념이 없으신 도의회 농수산위원님들께서 귀한 시간을 내어 경북도의회 의정 사상 처음으로 울릉군 농어민의 마음을 전달할 수 있었다.”며 농수산위원을 비롯한 관계자에게 고마움을 표하고 앞으로도 농수산위원장으로서 울릉군민을 위해 최선을 다하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.
