대구가톨릭대, '가톨릭 문화의밤' 개최

대구가톨릭대(총장 우동기)는 성 김대건 신부 탄생 200주년을 기념하며 ‘가톨릭 문화의 밤’ 행사를 열었다.

4일 효성캠퍼스 중강당에서 ‘가톨릭 문화의 밤’ 행사를 열고 무용, 강연, 밴드공연, 전시 등의 행사를 펼쳤다.

성 김대건 신부는 우리나라 최초의 사제이며, 첫 번째 순교자로 그는 한국인 가운데 가장 먼저 양학 유학생으로 활동했다. 또한 ‘2021 유네스코 세계기념인물’로 선정될 만큼 역사적, 문화적, 종교적으로 큰 의미를 지닌 인물로 대구가톨릭대학교는 올해 탄생 200주년을 맞이한 성 김대건 신부를 기리며 행사를 개최했다.

이날 행사는 대구가톨릭대 무용학과 학생들의 ‘두드림으로 여는 어울림’ 오프닝 공연으로 막을 열고, 우동기 총장의 축사, 한국무용 ‘순결한 넋들이 하늘을 보네~’, 신학대학 김정희 신부의 ‘최초의 양학 유학생 김대건 안드레아’를 주제로 한 강연 순으로 진행됐다. 이어 현대무용 ‘With’와 대구가톨릭대 신부들로 구성된 DCU 사제밴드의 공연이 이어졌다.

행사장에는 대구가톨릭대 대학원 회화과 석·박사 과정 학생과 졸업생들이 연구한 황금배경템페라화 작품 30여 점을 선보인 ‘황금배경템페라展’도 진행됐다.

우동기 대구가톨릭대 총장은 “성 김대건 신부님은 200년을 넘어 현재를 살고 있는 우리에게 종교를 초월해 큰 감동과 울림을 전해준 분이다. 오늘 행사가 김대건 신부님의 영성을 되새기는 뜻깊은 축제가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Lectures on the topic ' were held in order. Then, the modern dance 'With' and the DCU priest band composed of priests from Daegu Catholic University followed.

At the event site, the ‘Golden Background Tempera Exhibition’ was held, which showcased about 30 golden background tempera paintings studied by students and graduates of the graduate school painting department of Daegu Catholic University.

Dong-ki Woo, President of Daegu Catholic University, said, “Fr. Sung Kim Dae-geon has been living in the present for over 200 years. We hope that today's event will be a meaningful festival that reminds us of the spirituality of Father Kim Dae-geon."
