브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보가 10일 대장동 개발특혜 의혹과 관련, 검찰 수사가 미진하다면 특검도 수용하겠다는 의사를 밝혔다. 다만 수사 대상에는 윤석열 국민의힘 후보도 포함돼야 한다고 했다.
이재명 후보는 10일 서울 중구 한국프레스센터에서 열린 관훈클럽 토론회에서 "검찰 수사를 지켜보되 미진한 점이 있거나 의문이 남는다면 특검이든 어떤 형태로든 더 완벽한 철저한 진상규명과 엄정한 책임 추궁이 반드시 필요하다는 점에 대해선 전적으로 공감한다"고 밝혔다.
다만 이재명 후보는 윤석열 후보의 검사 시절 부산저축은행 사건 부실수사 의혹을 비롯해 곽상도 의원 아들이 화천대유로부터 받은 50억원 퇴직금, 박영수 전 특검 친척이 운영하는 분양대행업체로 간 100억원 자금, 공공개발 방해 및 배임적 민간 개발이익 투자배분 설계 등도 수사 대상에 올라야 한다고 했다.
그는 "대장동 문제는 매우 복합적이다. 첫째로 윤석열 후보가 이 사건 주임검사일 때 대장동 초기 개발 자금 관련한 비리 문제를 알고도 덮었다는 문제제기가 있으니 이 역시 특검 대상으로 삼아야 한다"고 말했다.
이어 그는 "곽모 의원의 50억, 누군가의 고문료 문제 등에 대해 검찰이 충실하게 본질에 접근하려고 노력하느냐에 대해 의구심을 가질 수밖에 없다"라고 표현했으나 곽상도 의원 아들의 50억 퇴직금과 박영수 전 특검의 고문료 문제를 언급한 것으로 보인다.
또한 "세번째로 민간개발을 통해 민간이 불로소득, 개발 이익을 가질 수 있도록 법제를 만들고, LH 공공개발을 포기시키고 성남시의 공공개발 시도를 다수 의석을 동원해 막고 민간 개발을 강요한 부분에 대해서도 당연히 수사가 이뤄져야 된다"며 "공공개발을 못 하도록 막은 게 정말 배임"이라고 주장했다.
그는 이와 함께 "이익 배당을 들여다보면 수천억 투자하고 전혀 이익을 배당 받지 않거나 소액 투자하고 엄청난 개발이익을 독점하는 문제에 대해선 민간 참여 투자자들이 스스로 결정한 일이다. 왜 이런 배임적 민간 개발이익 투자 배분을 설계했느냐에 대해서도 수사가 엄정하게 이뤄져야 한다"고 설명했다.
이 후보는 아울러 "특검은 사실 상당히 많은 시간이 소요되기 때문에 결국 윤 후보가 특검을 빙자해서 수사 회피, 지연 목적을 달성하려 한다는 생각을 지울 수 없다"면서도 "대장동이나 화천대유 문제에 대해선 수사가 미진하면 당연히 특검을 하되, 그와 직접 관련 없는 윤 전 총장 본인, 가족의 부정부패 비리 문제에 대해선 지금 단계에서 검찰의 엄정하고 신속한 수사가 필요하다"고 했다.
그러면서 "그걸 피하기 위해 수개월이 소요되는 특검으로 피할 생각을 하지 않았으면 좋겠다"고 덧붙였다.

However, candidate Lee Jae-myung said that allegations of poor investigation into the Busan Savings Bank case during Yoon Seok-yeol's prosecution, 5 billion won in severance pay received from Hwacheon Daeyu, 10 billion won in funds run by former special prosecutor Park Young-soo, obstruction of public development and design of breach of trust should also be on the investigation.
He said, "The colon problem is very complex. First, when candidate Yoon Seok-yeol was the chief prosecutor of the case, there was a question that he covered up the corruption issue related to the early development funds in Daejang-dong, so this should also be targeted for special prosecutors.
He then expressed, "We have no choice but to doubt whether the prosecution is faithfully trying to approach the essence of Kwak Sang-do's son's 5 billion severance pay and former special prosecutor Park Young-soo's torture fee."
Third, legislation should be created so that the private sector can have unearned income and development benefits through private development, and investigations should be conducted on giving up LH public development, mobilizing a number of seats to block Seongnam City's public development, he said.
In addition, he said, "If you look at profit dividends, private participating investors have made their own decisions on the issue of investing hundreds of billions of won, receiving no profits at all, investing in small amounts, and monopolizing huge development profits. The investigation should also be conducted strictly on why such a breach of trust private development profit investment allocation was designed, he explained.
Candidate Lee also said, "In fact, the special prosecution takes quite a lot of time, so we cannot erase the idea that candidate Yoon is trying to avoid the investigation and achieve the purpose of delay," adding, "If the investigation is insufficient, the prosecution needs a strict and prompt investigation."
He added, "I hope you don't think about avoiding it with a special prosecution that takes months to avoid it."
