한국사학진흥재단(이사장 홍덕률, 이하 ‘KASFO’)이 공공기관 경영평가에서 우수 등급을 획득했다.
KASFO는 공공기관의 공공성 및 경영 효율성을 평가하는 교육부 소관 공공기관 경영평가에서 2년 연속 최고등급을 달성했다고 밝혔다.

해당 평가는 공공기관의 경영 노력과 성과를 공정하고 객관적으로 평가하는 제도로 자율·책임경영체계 확립을 위해 마련되었다.
특히 2020년 경영평가는 코로나19 상황에서 공공기관의 고통분담과 정부정책 대응 노력과 한국판 뉴딜 동참 확대라는 새로운 역할을 강조했다.
이 가운데 KASFO는 지역 코로나19 확산에 따른 위기 대응, 위기 극복, 미래 혁신의 3단계 대응전략을 수립하여 선제적 대응조치와 더불어 중장기 종합대책을 마련하여 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 행복기숙사 원리금 상환유예 및 임대료 감면과 외국인 유학생 및 감염의심자 격리시설 활용 등의 사례가 코로나19 상황에서 공공기관으로서의 사회적 책임을 다한 우수사례로 선정되었다.
아울러 KASFO는 전년도 지적사항에 대한 적극적 개선노력과 비계량 성과가 우수하다고 평가받았으며 인력 재배치 등 경영 효율화 노력이 좋은 평가를 견인했다.
이와 함께 지속가능한 일자리 창출과 채용과정의 공정성 및 적정성, 근로생활의 질 향상과 일·가정 양립 제도 운영이 긍정적 평가를 받은 것으로 알려진다.
