대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)가 전국 최초 문화예술중점 특수학교인 대구예아람학교(교장 하미애)와 업무 협약을 체결했다.

지난 8일 체결된 이번 협약으로 양 기관은 문화예술 진흥을 위해 △문화예술교육활동 지원에 대한 제반 사항 △공동연구 및 학술 세미나 등의 공동 개최 △예술 문화 확산을 위한 행사 공동기획 및 운영 △양 기관의 교육활동 홍보 등에 협력할 것을 약속했다.
이와 함께 대구사이버대학교 홍보팀에서는 대구예아람학교에서 개최한 ‘위드 심포니 오케스트라’ 연주 영상 및 홍보 영상을 제작, 유튜브 채널 확산 등에 적극적으로 지원하겠다고 밝혔다.
대구예아람학교 하미애 교장은 “온라인 특수교육의 명문인 대구사이버대학교와 협약을 하게 되어 기쁘게 생각한다”며 “향후 졸업 후 진학을 고민하는 대구예아람학교 학생들에게 또 하나의 기회가 될 것으로 생각한다”고 말했다.
대구사이버대학교 이근용 총장은 협약과 관련하여 “대구사이버대와 대구예아람학교가 지속적인 교류와 협력을 추진하며 양 기관의 상호 발전을 도모하기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
