경북도립대학교(총장 김상동) 산학협력단이 문경시와 육아종합지원센터 위탁 운영을 위해 계약을 체결했다.
지난 10일 경북도립대학교는 문경시와 육아종합지원센터 계약을 체결하고 2022년부터 2026년까지 5년 간 위탁운영에 나선다고 밝혔다.

문경시 육아종합지원센터는 2016년 개관하여 지역사회의 원스톱 보육 서비스를 통한 양육지원을 위한 거점기관으로 자리매김하고 있다.
이번 계약으로 경북도립대학교 산학협력단은 문경시 육아종합지원센터를 포함해 빛뜨란놀이터(모전점), 영신 숲 영유아 체험장 운영 등 다양한 육아 지원 서비스를 제공할 예정으로 보육·양육 정보를 수집 제공하고, 보육 컨설팅과 프로그램 개발 및 부모 교육 등의 역할을 담당할 계획이다.
김현익 문경시 육아종합지원센터장 내정자는 “센터가 단순한 놀이와 돌봄 기능을 넘어 부모의 육아와 자녀의 성장에 실질적인 도움이 될 알찬 공간으로 운영할 예정이다”라며 “이번 경북도립대학교 위탁 운영을 통해 다양하고 차별화된 보육 프로그램 개발과 양질의 보육 서비스를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
김상동 경북도립대학교 총장은 “코로나19로 가정 육아가 늘어난 상황에서 부모들의 육아 부담을 덜 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 제공할 예정이다”라며 “유아교육과 등 우수한 교수진과 대학의 전문성을 바탕으로 센터 운영에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
