한국사학진흥재단(이사장 홍덕률, 이하 ‘KASFO’)이 한국교육학회(학회장 정일환)와 업무협약을 체결하고 상호협력에 나선다고 밝혔다.

지난 11일 KASFO 제1회의실에서 체결된 이번 업무협약은 홍덕률 이사장과 정일환 학회장을 비롯한 다수의 관계자들이 참여한 가운데 온라인 화상회의 방식으로 진행되었다.
이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 교육·연수, 미래 교육 발전을 위한 역할, 학술·연구 분야의 상호 교류와 협력체계 구축에 협력할 것을 약속했다.
이를 위해 ▲교육·연수 프로그램 개발 및 운영 ▲사학진흥 관련 연구 수행 ▲심포지엄 및 포럼 등 학술대회 등 적극적인 학문적 교류를 이어갈 예정이다.
KASFO 홍덕률 이사장은 “학령인구의 급감 등으로 사립대학들이 위기 상황에 처한 현 시점에서 양 기관의 업무협약은 사립대학들의 짐을 덜어 줄 수 있는 정책들을 연구·설계함으로써 미래 교육 발전에 의미 있는 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.
