DGIST(총장 국양) 직원 창업기업 엠에프알㈜이 ‘2021 스마트건설 창업 아이디어 공모전’에서 대상(국토교통부 장관상)을 수상했다.
'스마트건설 창업 아이디어 공모전’은 실제 건설작업 환경에서 연계 가능한 스마트 기술 아이디어를 공모하고, 우수 아이디어 보유 기업을 선정하기 위해 기획되었다.

공모전은 서류심사, 창업캠프 및 멘토링, 최종 발표 대회 등의 평가를 거쳐, 94개 후보팀 중 대상 2팀(일반, 청년) 등 총 12팀을 우수팀으로 선정했다.
이에 따라 17일 개최된 시상식에서 대상을 수상한 엠에프알㈜은 로봇기술과 비전 및 AI기술 융합기반 건설현장 인력대체 솔루션을 제공하는 기업으로 한국건설기술연구원(KICT) 스마트건설지원센터 입주와 함께 기술경영 지원, 투자 연계 등 창업지원 서비스를 제공 받게 되었다.
엠에프알㈜ 이승열 대표는 “금번 수상은 엠에프알㈜ 이 중점적으로 개발 중인 건설현장 관련 미래수요기술에 대한 긍정적 반응이라 생각한다”며, “내년에는 국내 시장을 넘어 글로벌 건설 시장에서의 기술수요와 반응도 기대할 수 있을 것이다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

Accordingly, MFR Co., Ltd., which won the grand prize at the awards ceremony held on the 17th, is a company that provides a solution for manpower replacement based on robot technology, vision, and AI technology convergence. Startup support services such as management support and investment linkage were provided.
