계명대(총장 신일희)가 ‘실크로드 하늘길을 가다’를 주제로 실크로드의 동북아 교육 허브로서 경상북도를 재조명하는 자리를 마련했다.
오는 12월 2일까지 경북도청에서 토론회, 전시회, 인문학교육 등 다양한 행사가 진행되는 가운데 지난 26일에는 행사의 개막식이 열려 그 시작을 알렸다.

행사가 시작된 26일에는 오후 1시 50분부터 경상북도청 안민관 다목적홀에서 ‘통합신공항과 물류’토론회가 개최되었다.
같은 날부터 ‘실크로드 섬유 복식의 역사와 교역’이라는 주제의 온라인 심포지엄과 ‘중앙아시아 복식문화 전시회’도 동시에 진행되었다.
실크로드 5개국(우즈베키스탄, 타지키스탄, 키르기스스탄, 카자흐스탄, 터키)의 전통의상과 공예품 전시회는 12월 2일까지 경상북도청 안민관 서편 로비에서 진행되며 복식전시회 기획은 계명대 패션마케팅학과 교수와 학생들이 맡았다.
29일부터 12월 2일까지는 경북지역 중고등학생들을 대상으로 ‘실크로드 인문학 교육’도 실시된다. 이번 교육을 통해 동서양의 물적·인적 교류가 성행했던 실크로드 문명을 학생들에게 소개함으로써 인문학적 상상력을 키우고, 세계관을 글로벌화 하는데 기여할 예정이다.
신일희 계명대 총장은 개회사를 통해“대구·경북 통합신공항의 개항을 앞두고 ‘교류의 가치와 항공물류’ 토론회를 개최하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다.”며, “대구·경북의 미래를 그려내는 ‘그랜드 디자인’의 출발이 될 것으로 기대한다.”고 말했다.
이철우 경북도지사는“경상북도는 고대 실크로드를 통한 동서 교류의 수많은 흔적이 남아있는 곳입니다. 신라 천년의 고도 경주에서 중앙아시아와 더 멀리 로마제국의 유물이 출토되어, 이를 증명하고 있다.”며, “이번 행사를 통해 실크로드 중앙아시아 문화를 이해하고, 역사와 문명 교류의 가치를 직접 느껴는 자리가 되길 바란다.”고 축사를 전했다.

From the 29th to December 2nd, ‘Silk Road Humanities Education’ will be held for middle and high school students in Gyeongbuk region. Through this education, the students will be introduced to the Silk Road civilization, where material and human exchanges between the East and the West flourished, thereby nurturing the humanities imagination and contributing to the globalization of the worldview.
In his opening remarks, President Shin Il-hee of Keimyung University said, “I am delighted to be holding the ‘Value of Exchange and Air Logistics’ discussion ahead of the opening of the new Daegu-Gyeongbuk Integrated Airport. ' is expected to be the start of the '," he said.
Gyeongsangbuk-do Governor Lee Cheol-woo said, “Gyeongsangbuk-do is a place where many traces of East-West exchanges through the ancient Silk Road remain. The relics of Central Asia and the Roman Empire were unearthed in Gyeongju, the ancient city of the Silla millennium, proving this. I hope it will be a place for you,” he congratulated.
