경북과학대, ‘제2기 식초제조 및 상품화과정’ 수료식 개최

경북과학대학교가 ‘제2기 식초제조 및 상품화과정’ 수료식을 갖고 25명에게 수료증을 수여했다.

지난 26일 대학 산학협력관 영빈관에서는 조흥구 경북농민사관학교장, 경북과학대 김현정 총장, 최성열 교무처장, 이명희 산학협력단장과 수료 교육생이 참석한 가운데 ‘제2기 식초제조 및 상품화과정’ 수료식이 진행되었다.

경북농민사관학교 교육 과정의 하나인 ‘식초제조 및 상품화과정’은 농산물 가공 및 6차 산업에 관심 있거나 천연 발표식초 상품화를 준비 중인 농업인을 대상으로 진행되었으며 현장 경험이 풍부한 교수진들을 중심으로 농산물을 활용한 발효 식품 이론과 발효 식초 제조 기술, 식품 포장 방법 등을 중점적으로 이뤄졌다.

특히 첨단설비를 갖춘 학교기업 ‘대학촌’을 운영하고 있는 경북과학대는 전통식품연구소, 공동기기실, 식품가공실, 포장연구센터, 식품공장 등을 교육에 적극 활용해 좋은 반응을 얻었다.

경북과학대 이명희 산학협력단장은 “조사 결과 교육에 참여한 농민들의 만족도가 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다”며 “수료 후에도 대학과 네트워크를 형성해 지속적으로 협력함으로써 농가 소득 증대 및 천연식초 상품화가 이어질 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
