창원시의회?창원시, 인사권독립 업무협약

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시의회(의장 이치우)와 창원시(시장 허성무)는 2일 창원시 접견실에서 시의회 인사권독립 조기 정착을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 지금까지 지방의회 공무원에 대한 임용권이 지방자치단체의 장에게 있었으나, 「지방자치법」 전부개정법률의 시행일인 2022년 1월 13일부터는 지방의회 의장이 소속 공무원에 대한 인사를 관장하게 됨에 따른 것이다.

그동안 창원시의회와 창원시는 지방의회 인사권독립 준비를 위해 지난 2월부터 의회사무국과 집행기관 관계 부서 간 사전협의를 꾸준히 추진해 왔다.
