국립현대미술관 창원분관 ‘지역특화형 문화시설 창원관’ 건립 예정

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 국립현대미술관 창원분관이 ‘지역특화형 문화시설’로 창원에 건립될 예정이다.

‘지역특화형 문화시설’이란 국립과 공립의 중간단계로 국가가 일정한 운영기간을 보장하고 국비와 지방비 매칭이 가능한 형태의 문화시설 건립사업을 말한다.

국회 예산결산특별위원회 최형두 의원은 국회 예산심사 과정에서 국립현대미술관 창원분관을 ‘지역특화형 문화시설 창원관 건립사업’예산 용역비 5억원을 반영했다고 밝혔다.

현대미술관 분관이 지역특화형 문화시설로 건립될 경우 국가는 최소 5년(미정)간 운영비를 부담하고 국비와 지방비의 매칭 비율도 이례적으로 7(국비)대 3(지방비)으로 부담한다.

최 의원은 지역특화형 문화시설로 현대미술관 창원분관 건립이 추진되더라도 국회 문체위 법안소위에 계류중인 ‘박물관미술관 진흥법’이 통과될 경우 국립으로 전환하는 방안 등 다양한 보완대책을 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.

최형두 의원은 “이번에 국회에서 통과된 ‘2022년 정부예산’에는 마산합포구 내 주요사업 추진과 현안해결을 위한 예산 총 57.6억 원이 기존 정부안보다 증액되었다.”며 “‘지역특화형 문화시설 건립방안 연구(5억 원)’, ‘서비스 로봇 공통 플랫폼 제작 실증사업(31.9억 원)’, ‘마산중부서 완월파출소 이전신축(14.36억 원)’, ‘진동 물재생센터 증설(5억 원)’, ‘3.15의거 진실규명 조사·진실화해위원회 운영(1.34억 원)’등이 증액됐는데 이를 통해, 마산합포구 내 다수 현안을 해결하고 로봇산업을 통한 지역발전 신성장 동력 마련에도 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
