브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 국민의힘 대선후보측은 8일 윤 후보의 부인 김건희씨가 과거 '쥴리'라는 예명을 쓰고 유흥업소에서 일했다는 증언이 나온데 대해 "가짜뉴스"라며 강력한 법적 조치를 하겠다고 밝혔다.
앞서 유튜브 매체 '열린공감TV'는 안해욱 전 대한초등학교태권도협회장과의 인터뷰를 통해 '1997년 5월 7일 라마다르네상스호텔 나이트를 방문했다가 조남욱 당시 삼부토건 회장의 초대를 받아 6층 연회장에 올라갔는데 그 자리에서 당시 '쥴리'라는 예명을 쓰던 김건희씨를 만났다'는 증언을 보도했다.
이에 대해 최지현 국민의힘 중앙선대위 수석부대변인은 이날 입장문을 통해 "단연코 김건희씨는 유흥주점에서 근무한 사실이 전혀 없다"면서 가짜뉴스를 보도한 언론사 기자와 관련 글을 올린 추미애 전 법무부 장관에 대해 "강력한 법적 조치를 하겠다"고 말했다.
최 부대변인은 "사실과 다르고 방송 자체로 말이 안 된다"라며 "제보자 한 명을 내세워 김건희씨에 대한 입에 담을 수도 없는 수준 낮은 내용을 그대로 방송했다. 특히 같은 제보자가 이재명 후보의 어린 시절을 증언하며 예찬론을 펼쳤다. 이런 것을 방송하거나 언급하는 분들은 부끄럽지도 않나"라고 비판했다.
이어 그는 "방송에는 '○○대 시간강사'로 소개받았다고 하는데, 1997년에는 김건희씨가 숙명여대 교육대학원을 다니고 있었다"라며 "김건희씨가 조남욱 라마다르네상스 회장을 처음 안 시점은 훨씬 뒤로, 1997년경에는 서로 알지도 못하던 때"라고 주장했다.
최 부대변인은 "해당 언론은 시기가 맞지 않자 4년 전인 1997년경 미리 '시간강사'가 되기로 내정돼 있었기 때문에 '시간강사'로 소개한 것 같다는 말도 안 되는 해석까지 붙였다"고 말했다.
그러면서 "이런 방식이 사람을 대하는 민주당의 민낯인가. 대선 후보였던 추미애 전 장관까지 나서 근거 없는 인신공격도 잔혹하게 퍼뜨린다"면서 "정권교체를 해야 하는 이유가 또 하나 늘었다. 이런 끔찍한 인격살인과 허위사실 유포에 대해서는 강력히 대처하겠다"고 거듭 강조했다.
