[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 20일 시민홀에서 그린리더 및 경남창원기후환경네트워크 20여 명과 함께 2021년 창원시 그린리더협의회 정기총회를 개최했다.

창원시 그린리더는 2012년 결성되어 현재 49명의 회원이 기후위기 대응과 탄소중립 사회로의 전환을 선도하고 탄소중립 생활실천 확산을 목적으로 활동하고 있다.

특히 녹색아파트 만들기에 참여하는 아파트의 멘토 역할을 9회째 수행하면서 주민 그린리더 양성, 탄소포인트 가입안내, 가정방문 대기전력 테스트 및 온실가스 감축방법 컨설팅, 올바른 재활용품 분리수거 교육 등 시민과 직접 대면하는 탄소중립 생활실천 운동에 많은 활동을 하고 있다.

조명숙 그린리더협의회 회장은 “코로나로 힘든 여건에도 올해 활동이 잘 마무리됐고, 창원시의 2030 스마트 기후환경도시 비전이 시민에게 잘 전달되도록 내년에도 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
