문재인 대통령의 박근혜 전 대통령 특별사면 소식에 지역 정치권이 술렁이고 있다.
24일 문재인 대통령이 박 전 대통령의 건강 문제 등을 고려해 사면을 결심했다는 소식이 전해지자 지역의 정치권 곳곳에서 이를 비판하고 나섰다.
이날 정의당 대구시당은 “문재인 대통령은 5대 부패범죄 사면 제한을 약속한바 있다.”면서 “이번 박근혜 씨 사면 소식은 문재인 대통령의 국정철학에 부합하지도 않고 옳지도 않다.”고 지적했다.
그러면서 “문재인 정부는 국민통합 명분으로 촛불시민을 기만하고 있다. 촛불로 이뤄낸 민주주의 성취 앞에 국민적 동의도 구하지 않는 박근혜 씨 사면을 반대한다.”는 입장을 밝혔다.
진보당 대구시당 역시 문재인 대통령의 결정에 대해 “촛불 민심을 정면으로 배신하는 행위”라며 강하게 질타하며 나섰다.
진보당 대구시당은 “더 이상 문재인 대통령의 공정은 없다. 대통령의 고유한 권한인 사면권을 어설픈 통합의 논리에 부쳐 정치적 흥정의 수단으로 전락시킨 결과 앞에 비통함을 느낀다”고 꼬집으며 “헌법과 민주주의를 파괴했던 국정농단에 면죄부를 준 문재인 대통령을 강력히 규탄한다.”고 강한 비판을 쏟아냈다.
