브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보의 선거대책위원회가 점차 '원팀 정신'으로 뭉치고 있다.
이재명 후보는 지난 27일 '국가비전·국민통합위원회'를 출범식을 진행하며 비전위 공동위원장으로 이낙연 위원장을 비롯해 홍영표 수석부위원장 및 비전위원 등을 발표했다.
이는 당 내 경선 당시 '명낙대전'으로 불릴 정도로 치열하게 경합했던 이재명 후보와 이낙연 전 대표가 '원팀'을 선언한 것으로, 향후 지지층 결집에 한층 속도가 붙을 것으로 전망된다.
비전위는 국가 비전과 국민 통합을 주제로 핵심 아젠다를 추려 차기 정부 국정과제로 삼기 위한 기구로, 이재명 후보와 이낙연 전 대표는 지난 23일 오찬 회동을 선대위 내 비전위를 설치하고 이들이 함께 공동위원장을 맡는데 합의했다.
또한 28일에는 정세균 전 국무총리가 이재명 후보의 후원회장을 맡는다는 소식이 전해졌다.
권혁기 선대위 대변인은 이날 여의도 당사에서 가진 브리핑에서 "이재명 후보가 정세균 후원회장과 함께 투명하고 깨끗한 정치자금 모금과 운영으로 이번 대선을 클린 선거로 치른다는 의지를 강조했다"고 밝혔다.
권 대변인은 "정 후원회장은 한국 정치사에서 깨끗한 정치의 상징으로 평가받는다"며 "정세균 후원회장의 선대위 동참은 이재명 후보 선대위가 원팀을 넘어 드림팀으로 완성됐다는 상징"이라고 의미를 부여했다.
정세균 전 총리는 후원회장과 함께 기존의 선대위 상임고문직도 겸할 것으로 보인다.
아울러 추미애 전 장관 역시 지난 16일 대선후보 직속 기구인 사회대전환위원회 위원장을 맡으며 선대위 전면에 등장했다. 추 전 장관은 윤석열 국민의힘 대선후보의 발언 및 부인 김건희씨와 관련해 연일 비판적 목소리를 높이며 공세에 나서고 있다.
경선에서 경쟁했던 박용진, 김두관 의원도 진작부터 선대위에 합류해 일을 해오는 등 '이재명 원팀'이 완성되며 민주당 전통적인 지지층 결집을 위해 한몸으로 움직이고 있다.
