브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대선후보는 5일 박근혜 전 대통령이 설 연휴를 전후해 정치적 메시지를 내지 않을 것으로 전망했다.
조원진 후보는 이날 MBC라디오 ‘김종배의 시선집중’과의 인터뷰에서 "국민의힘이 아사리판이 났는데 거기 뭐라고 얘기하겠느냐. 정치적인 어떤 입장, 이런 것보다는 국민들한테 감사하는 그런 입장의 메시지를 하지 않겠느냐"고 밝혔다.
앞서 유영하 변호사는 박 전 대통령이 설날 연휴 즈음에 대국민 메시지를 낼 것이라고 밝힌 바 있다.
그는 박근혜 전 대통령이 대국민 메시지에서 윤 후보를 언급할 가능성에 대해서도 "윤석열 후보가 그때까지 간다는 보장도 없다"며 "윤석열 후보는 지도력, 부인에 대한 부분은 지나갈 수 있는데 국민의힘의 선대본부나 당을 이끄는 그 지도력에서 상당한 흠결이 생겼다"고 지적했다.
조 후보는 또한 "(윤 후보는) 박근혜 대통령에 대해서 앞에 사족을 달지 말고 ‘내가 공직자로서 소임’ 이런 거 하지 말고 진솔하게 사과하는 게 맞다"면서 "45년 구형을 때리고 하루에 10시간씩 일주일에 4번을 6개월을 끌지 않았나. 그 부분에 대해 분노가 많다. 그래도 본인이 계속 몇 번 사과하면 된다"고 했다.
윤석열 후보는 2012년 국가정보원 댓글조작 의혹 수사 당시 검찰 수뇌부의 외압 폭로로 인해 좌천되기도 했고, 2016년 국정농단 사건 특검 수사팀장으로 근무하는 등 박근혜 전 대통령과는 묘한 악연으로 이어져 있다.

Cho Won-jin, a presidential candidate for Woori Republican Party, predicted on the 5th that former President Park Geun Hye will not issue political messages around the Lunar New Year holiday.
Candidate Cho Won-jin said in an interview with MBC Radio's "Kim Jong-bae's attention" that day, "The power of the people is in full swing, what would you say there?" "Wouldn't you rather give a message from a political position than something like this?"
Earlier, lawyer Yoo Young-ha said former President Park would send a message to the public around the Lunar New Year holiday.
Regarding the possibility that former President Park Geun Hye will mention Yoon in a message to the public, he said, "There is no guarantee that Yoon Seok-yeol will go until then," adding, "Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol's leadership and his wife can pass, but his leadership has been flawed."
Candidate Cho also said, "It is right to sincerely apologize (Candidate Yoon) for President Park Geun Hye, not to cling to him and say, 'I am a public official,'" adding, "Didn't he hit the 45-year sentence and extend four hours a week for six months. There is a lot of anger about that part. Still, you can keep apologizing a few times," he said.
Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol was demoted in 2012 due to external pressure revelations by the prosecution's leadership during the National Intelligence Service's alleged manipulation of comments, and served as the head of the special prosecutor's investigation team in 2016.
