충남도가 올해 금융 양극화 해소와 도내 중소기업·소상공인 지원 강화를 위한 충청권 지방은행 설립 추진에 속도를 낸다.

우선 경제실은 △충청권 지방은행 설립 역량 결집 및 여건 조성을 구체화한다.
4개 시도 실무협의회를 운영하며 범시·도민추진단을 구성하고, 다음 달 타당성 연구용역을 공동 추진한다.
대선과 지방선거 공약에 반영될 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하는 한편, 투자자 확정과 예비인가 신청도 진행한다.
경제실은 이와 함께 △경제위기 대응 시스템 개선 및 경제발전 전략 실행력 제고 △소상공인 경쟁력 강화 및 동네상권 활성화 지원 △맞춤형 지역 일자리 창출을 통한 고용위기 선제 대응 △중대산업재해 예방을 통한 안전 일터 조성 등을 중점 추진한다.
