“금강하구 생태복원 위한 지역협력 시동”

금강하구 자연성회복 추진위원회가 지난 11일 군산시청 대강당에서 발족식을 개최했다.

발족식에서 추진위 공동대표에는 고일석 전북수산인연합회장, 문정숙 군산한살림 대표, 박해영 익산환경운동연합 대표, 추교화 부여환경연대 대표, 전두현 서천군어민회장, 조용주 서천군농민회장 등 6명이 선출됐다. 

또 남대진 군산환경운동연합 대표와 문성호 금강유역환경회의 공동의장이 상임대표를 맡는다.

이후 추진위는 ▲금강하구 해수유통과 생태계 복원 ▲금강하구 농·공용수 취수원 이전 등 농·공용수 공급대안 마련 ▲하구복원 특별법 제정 ▲금강하구 수산업 복원 ▲금강하구 생태복원 국정과제 채택 ▲금강하구 상생발전 방안 마련을 위한 본격적인 활동에 나서게 된다.

아울러 금강하구 생태복원 대선 국정과제 채택 민·관 공동위원회 창립과 토론회 등을 통해 대선 후보 면담도 추진할 예정이다.

충남도의회 금강권역의 친환경적 발전을 위한 특별위원회(금강특위)양금봉 위원장은 “이번 발족식은 지역 간 갈등의 벽을 허물고 금강하구의 자연성 회복을 위해 뜻을 함께하는 자리”라며 “금강하구 자연성회복 추진위원회 발족을 통해 금강하구 해수유통 및 생태복원 국정과제 채택 등이 더욱 탄력을 받을 것으로 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
