더불어민주당 제 20대 이재명 대통령 후보 직속 대한민국 대전환 선거대책위원회 “미래시민광장위원회 충남본부”가 대선 승리와 민주, 평화와 공정의 가치의 기치를 내걸고 13일 본격 출범했다.
충남북부상공회의소에서 진행된 이날 출범식은 경과보고와 환영사, 축사 그리고 출범결의문 낭독 및 임명장 수여 순으로 진행됐다.
출범식에는 상임위원장인 조정식 국회의원(경기 시흥을), 공동위원장 이정문 국회의원(천안 병), 공동위원장 강준현 국회의원(세종시을), 공동위원장 이규희 전 국회의원을 비롯해 150여명의 회원들이 참석했다.
조정식 상임위원장은 축사를 통해 “충남은 대선 승리의 바로미터이며, 충남이 이겨야 대선도 이길 수 있다”며 대선에서 충남의 중요성을 강조하고 “이번 대선은 미래로 전진하느냐? 과거로 회귀하느냐?의 명운이 달린 매우 중요한 선거로 민주 정권의 재창출을 위해 출범식에 함께한 미래시민광장위원회 충남본부 동지분들이 앞장서 최선을 다해 달라”고 주문했다.
이날 참석자들은 출범결의문을 통해 “민주주의 가치를 지켜내고, 한반도 평화와 번영 그리고 민생 중심의 정치혁신, 공정사회를 실현하는 길은 민주정권 재창출과 확실한 개혁의 실천뿐”이라며 “그 길을 실현하기 위한 유일한 인물은 이재명 후보이며, 미래시민광장위원회 충남본부가 이재명 대통령 후보와 함께 대선필승을 위해 최선을 다할 것이며, 그 힘찬 걸음을 함께 할 것”이라고 출범 결의를 밝혔다.
출범식에 앞서 조정식 상임위원장은 충남도당을 방문해 충남선거대책위원회와 간담회를 갖고 제 20대 대선 승리 방안과 지역현안에 대해 논의했다.
미래시민광장위원회 충남본부는 인치견, 염홍섭 공동 상임본부장과 15개 시·군 공동본부장을 주축으로 충남 15개 시·군 플랫폼(광장) 확장을 통해 대한민국 대전환을 위한 이재명 후보의 대선승리를 위해 중추적인 역할에 최선을 다 할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
