[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도교육청은 21일 오후 사천 켄코아에어로스페이스(주) 에서 항공우주 산업계 대표 단체인 한국항공우주산업진흥협회와 항공분야 전문인력 양성을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
협약식에는 박종훈 교육감과 정경환 한국항공우주산업진흥협회 부회장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자들이 참석했다.
양 기관은 이번 업무협약을 통해 상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 4차 산업 관련 선진 기술과 지식을 교환하고, 교육과 직업 훈련을 통해 취업 활성화를 높이는데 유기적으로 협력하기로 했다.
이어 △경남지역 직업교육 혁신지구 사업 활성화를 위한 상호 협력 △경남지역산업(항공우주분야) 연계 학과개편 추진 연구지원 △상호 보유하고 있는 인적, 물적 자원의 교류 증진 등의 분야에서 상호 협력하기로 합의했다.
정경환 한국항공우주산업진흥협회 부회장은 “경남지역 항공우주분야 전문인력을 산업계에 제공하여 업체 인력난을 해소하고 항공산업 선진 기술을 직업계고 학생과 교사들에게 제공할 예정”이며, “이번 협약이 지역의 우수 인력 양성에 이바지하는 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
박종훈 교육감은 “국내 유일 항공우주산업 비영리 단체인 한국항공우주산업진흥협회 의 경남지역 직업계 고등학생들을 위한 큰 협력에 감사드린다”며 “오늘을 계기로 더 많은 분야에서 상호 협력하여 미래사회가 원하는 인재를 함께 양성해 나가자”고 말했다.
