이춘희 세종시장,“확진자 치료 만전”당부

이춘희 세종시장은 3일 세종생활치료센터와 신규 생활치료센터 조성 예정지인 합강캠핑장을 잇달아 방문해 확진자 관리·치료 현황을 점검했다.

이 시장은 먼저 생활치료센터를 방문해  방역 최일선에서 환자 관리와 치료에 매진하고 있는 의료진, 공직자 등을 격려했다.

세종시 장군면 농협 세종교육원에 위치한 세종생활치료센터는 지난해 9월부터 100개 병상을 갖추고 충남대 병원이 환자 치료를 지원하고 있다.

이 시장은 “오미크론 확진자 증가로  생활치료센터 입소자가 증가할 것으로 보인다"며 "설 연휴 이후에도 긴장을 늦추지 말고 입소 환자 관리와 치료 등 코로나 대응에 힘 써 줄 것"을 당부했다.

이어 이 시장은 생활치료센터 조성 예정지인 합강캠핑장을 방문해 시설 배치계획을 점검하고 시민들이 안전하게 치료를 받을 수 있도록 신규 생활치료센터 조성에 만전을 기해줄 것"을 당부했다.  

한편, 시는 농협세종교육원과 생활치료센터 임차계약이 종료되는 오는 4월부터 합강 캠핑장 내 신규 생활치료센터를 조성해 100여 병상 규모로 운영할 예정이다.
